As you know, I spent my weekend suffering migraines that seemed to take forever to get rid of. Yesterday I still managed to handwrite about four pages of something new but I realized today that I was supposed to be working from that story starter I had posted about something being found in a pocket… so, I’m almost back at square one! I knew I would be doing a lot of cuts but had hoped that I would reach the “pocket point” much sooner than I actually did.
Today was an incredibly tiring day with people going on a cruise and someone leaving tomorrow… those are the people you want to look at and ask what’s the point? Why are you here?
It seemed the day dragged on with, yes, fatigue, but no desire to do anything more than be at home on the couch curled up with a really good movie with the curtains closed on the disgustingly dreary day outside that has just become more and more overcast as the day has gone on and rained off and on and off and on and off and on.
That has not helped the mood or the aches and pains but I haven’t had a headache today though I wish someone would massage the knots out of my neck.
Perhaps it would be a great evening for a glass of wine as well to help me relax.
So I will take my leave and go take advantage of the couch being empty and find that good movie… maybe Book Club or maybe Mamma Mia. Something fun to try and boost the spirits.
