I thought I printed the remainder of Confessions in the Mural. However, for some reason I had 194 pages in mind and that’s what I printed. Just now went through to number the pages and found two issues.
I always print in sets of 50 pages. Just in case of paper jams, ink running low, etc. I double side everything I print as well as it saves paper. Or at least I think it does.
So the first set of 50 pages printed fine (and you have to realize that I have already printed the first 113 pages (except page 112 if you recall)), all in perfect order. The second set, not so much. Less than half printed right on. Obviously the printer pulled two pages at once at some point and I ended up with pages all over the place.
Secondly, I had 198 pages so I’m missing four pages after all.
Groan!
This is not conducive to my being prepared to start NaNo on Tuesday!
Today was a pretty yucky day for me. I think the weather is having a profound impact on my back. Just doing laundry was painful.
So after just now sorting out my frustrations over my page numbers, I’m going to go pour myself a glass of wine and find something on TV to possibly fall asleep to, although falling asleep on the couch will do me no good at all.
Here’s to writing!
