Why? You ask…
So today I had two small errands to run… grocery store for muffins and OJ and then out to where my daughter works because as family I get a discount there and I needed treats for the rabbit.
So I get to the second stop, go in, find what I want and go check out. Then I walk out to the parking lot…
An older man and woman are standing at the rear of my NEW vehicle and ask if it’s mine. Ummm, yeah. “Well I may have done some damage”…
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I haven’t even had it for TWO MONTHS!!!
Anyway, long story short… yes, she did in fact manage to basically run her front bumper all the way up my driver side pushing in the rear door panel and scratching the paint on the front door. She also managed to crack the casing on a low-lying light on the back.
So instead of spending the time editing I was calling the insurance company, getting a damage quote, going to the police station to the reporting center and finally spending more time on the phone with the insurance company to complete the claim.
SIGH!!!! Why?
WHY????????????? Do you ever just ask that?????
My deepest apologies for ALL the additional exclamation and question marks in this post. I realize ONE is the maximum and I usually stick to that but think of it as my anger POURING out onto the page… pretend they are all angry emojis!
BEFORE my day went to hell I did manage to finish the story for the Rural Post and got it submitted which I wanted to do.
I also managed to add another 100 words to the one article for the other assignment but had planned on finishing that when I GOT BACK HOME.
So it hasn’t been a good day, at ALL! I even put Lavender into the diffuser for several hours so I wouldn’t yell at anyone too loudly… no, I didn’t want to take the anger out on those who would be trying to help me.
On that note I’m going to enjoy some baseball (go BLUE JAYS!) and Bones (favourite TV show EVER) and see if I can reach the point, in a little while, of getting some sleep tonight.
